PLODDERS TURN TODGER PURPLE!

11 Plodders ran the Totley AC Tigers Todger last night in conditions that can only be described as 'Sunny'.

The Todger is half road race half trail run, it starts at the Tigers Rugby Club with a fast road descent for the first mile before the slog up the length of the Limb Valley and onto the Ox stones via Houndkirk and the Lady Canning plantation. Then it's a bouldery descent to Sheephill road and straight down Long Line back to the Rugby club, a round trip of 5.7 Miles with 850 ft of climb.

Jamie Blazing up the Limb

Thanks to the non-racing plodders who cheered us on from half way up the limb, a much needed boost! The best spectator support around the course.

Plodder results below - The race was one by Stuart Bond in a time of 00:31:50, but no-one likes a show off.

Rob was first plodder home, Colin bloodied himself by taking a tumble on Houndkirk and Shaun and I contested a sprint finish.... Shaun won.

Then it was back to the Greystones for beer, crisps and birthday cakes from Susan. (Thanks Susan)
